Having trained as a chef in Switzerland over thirty years ago, Berkeley Gaunt is passionate about gourmet cooking,  using only the finest ingredients  -  and he has a wealth of experience preparing and cooking food for important clients.

He was head of catering for Barclay’s Bank for thirteen years and was responsible for the food in more than seventy directors’ dining rooms and staff restaurants.  He later went into business for himself, counting well known companies like Barclays and Merita Banks, Norton Rose and Kingsley Napley, Carlton Television and Capital Radio among his clients.

In 1990 he started making relishes and preserves for his catering company and since then he has continuously fine-tuned the recipes so that now he and his small but professional team boast an impressive range of superb pickles and chutneys.

Berkeley is constantly perfecting new recipes to add to his fine foods range. Keep an eye out for his chef’s choice and flavours of the month, as well as his seasonal variations on traditional themes.
